Michael Page are working with an Education Trust to recruit a Management Accountant. The role will be temporary, ongoing for the next 3 months to cover a period of absence.
This is a grade 8 role paying £38626 - £41511.
Client Details
My client operates within the Education sector and have a family of 18 schools spread across Northumberland.
Description
The successful Management Accountant will:
- Undertake financial reporting and budget planning.
- Provide strategic insights based on financial analysis.
- Ensure financial compliance and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with various department heads to establish financial objectives.
- Implement financial systems to enhance efficiency.
- Manage external audits and address any discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Contribute to the overall goals of the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role or similar.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Education or charity experience would be preferable.
Job Offer
Full time role + Temporary for the next 3 months + Permanent opportunities + Band 8 role paying £38626 - £41511 + Pension 22.2% + Full time and part time hours available (full time is preferred)
