The RoleA fantastic, rare opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a large organisation, headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne! Our client are a large, reputable North East based employer who offer flexible working plus great benefits. This is a long term contract role that can accommodate an immediate start and will span until September 2026.Areas of responsibility will include:
  • Producing full sets of group Management Accounts, providing insightful data to drive strategy.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations will be part of your day-to-day alongside supporting with balance sheet reviews. 
  • Supporting with budgeting and forecasting process
  • Elements of statutory reporting, you’ll help produce financial statements, coordinate with auditors, and provide necessary documentation for audits and tax returns.
  • Building strong relationships with regional teams and partnering with global departments within Finance to ensure compliance and accuracy.
About YouThe successful applicant:
  • Will either be fully qualified CIMA or ACCA, or mid-late stages of their journey to become fully qualified. 
  • Needs a solid understanding of financial reporting and analysis, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills. 
  • Strong demonstrable experience of preparing full sets of Management Accounts within a large complex organisation. 
  • Sound technical accounting knowledge. 
  • Excellent systems and ERP exposure - intermediate to advanced excel skills. 
  • This is an urgent requirement, but notice periods will be considered!
