KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this vibrant, successful organisation on the outskirts of Newcastle, to recruit a Management Accountant. Your duties will be as follows:

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
  • Interpretation and analysis of the accounts and explanation of variances
  • Assisting in preparing financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and cashflows
  • Working closely with senior management to resolve any queries with financial statements
  • Full reconciliation of all balance sheet and control accounts including prepayment and accrual calculations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Responsible for posting journals and performing complex analysis
  • Providing supporting data and relevant analysis to senior management to aid decision making in an effective and timely manner
  • Recording financial transactions
  • Assisting in reconciling supplier ledgers and agreeing to supplier statements
  • Ensuring payments to suppliers are paid as per the supplier payment terms
  • Completion of quarterly VAT return
  • Analysing and reporting of period end departmental reports

You will ideally be a qualified Accountant or working towards your qualification, although candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered. Experience in a similar role is paramount as are strong Excel skills.
