Sellick Partnership is delighted to be assisting a leading Financial Services organisation with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part Qualified / Qualified Management Accountant with solid month-end understanding, alongside budget and forecasting experience to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Duties

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow report
  • Investigating variances in these reports and working with departmental managers to ensure corrective action.
  • Maintaining accounting schedules for accruals / prepayments / fixed assets / projects and reconciling financial statements back to these.
  • Audit preparation and point of contact for auditors
  • Assisting in the development of forecasts and budgets
  • Supporting the year end process
  • Contributing to financial analysis and reporting for strategic decision-making.
  • Providing relevant research, analysis and financial insight
  • Point of contact for external financial stakeholders

Person Requirements

  • Previous relevant experience
  • Part qualified or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and experience of Sage
  • Organised and detail-focused
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to establish good working relationships with both production managers and business directors
