?KCR Solution are supporting this established firm of Accountants in their search for an Outsourcing Senior. You will work in the outsourcing team who provide finance function and management accounting services. You will work with a range of multinational clients, including technology and pharmaceutical sector.In this role, you will act as controller for a portfolio of clients, leading on the reporting of management accounting information and ensuring smooth running of the finance function. You will own the client relationship with regular communication to client principles. Building strong and trusted relationships is key. Working closely, supervising and directing, with Outsourcing Assistants within the team is crucial to successful delivery of the service.You will report into managers, directors and partners who lead the business.
This is a hybrid role, you will be office based 3 days per week
THE ROLE
- Taking responsibility for a client portfolio.
- Timely and accurate preparation of management accounts
- VAT returns.
- Supervising of Outsourcing Assistant on bank reconciliation and sales/purchase ledger activities including ensuring correct and timely posting of invoices to General Ledger and AP/ARsubledgers and timely and accurate execution of payments to vendors and other creditors.
- Updating the relevant Outsourcing Manager on client issues as and where appropriate.
- Working in accordance with the defined systems and procedures.
- Working with clients to resolve issues within finance function or accounting records and systems and ensure timely delivery and addressing of all required tasks.
- Managing client relationships, building trust, monitoring quality standards and ensuring delivery of an excellent level of client service and stakeholder management.
- Ability to analytically review results and analyse KPIs.
- Assisting with audit file requirements and answering queries of auditors.
- Recognising issues with international implications and act accordingly (e.g. VAT, taxation, foreign currency).
THE PERSON
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience must include:
- Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA or minimum 5 years QBE.
- Excellent compliance skills, able to work with limited requirement of supervision.
- Proficient in the use of IT including MS Excel, Outlook, Teams and accounting packages, and aptitude for learning new systems.
- Consistently delivering high professional standards of conduct, practice, and communication.
- Strong time management and organisational skills and adhering strictly to client reporting deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to work and helping junior team members to develop professionally.
- Continuously reviewing internal team processes and proactively suggesting improvements to systems and encouraging better teamwork.
