A large Newcastle accountancy firm with a strong personal tax compliance service line are looking to appoint a Personal Tax Senior to their team. They are keen to welcome an experienced professional who can take ownership of a portfolio and place clients at the forefront, ensuring a strong service delivery.

The Brief:

We are seeking a private client tax professional who is keen to expand their experience by joining a large firm with great opportunities to broaden your tax exposure and take responsibility for ensuring the tax compliance process runs smoothly.

The Role:

As a Personal Tax Senior you will be working with a range of clients, developing new skills and gaining valuable expertise from the friendly and inclusive team of tax professionals around you. Joining this established compliance department you be responsible for ensuring you have all the necessary information in order to complete your clients annual tax return from start to finish. Working with both Individuals and trusts this offers great variety to your technical knowledge.

You will need to ensure deadlines and service levels are met, managing your time as well as nurturing your client relationships and supporting more junior members within the team.

Experience Required:

Applicants will be able to demonstrate a minimum of three years experience of personal tax and hold a full or partial ATT qualification.

You will demonstrate both professional integrity and risk awareness, be well organised and able to communicate well in teams.

An awareness of trust tax issues would be advantageous but not essential.

You must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship.
