- Assisting the Tax Manager with ad-hoc advisory projects.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, landlords, directors, and non-resident individuals.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities within your portfolio and communicating them to the company’s directors.
- Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns and 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns where applicable.
- Communicating tax liabilities to clients and providing the necessary information to ensure timely payments in line with relevant deadlines.
- Be ATT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Have experience of managing their own portfolio of clients within a busy accountancy practice environment.
- Have experience of all aspects of the Self-Assessment Tax Return process.
- Have strong technical personal tax knowledge and the ability to research and communicate technical information to both colleagues and clients.
- Have the ability to liaise with clients, resolving their queries in a timely manner.
