Our client, one of the North’s leading firms of chartered accountants and business advisors, offering an extensive range of corporate, personal and specialist tax services and employing 1000 staff, is seeking to recruit a VAT Manager to support clients in minimising their VAT liabilities, ensuring compliance and offering tax planning advice.
As VAT Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Collating data to complete VAT returns
- Identifying and investigating variances within reconciliations
- Monitoring the VAT workflow across the client base
- Working with internal customers to provide guidance and advice on VAT issues
- Building trusted relationships with clients
- Working with the wider tax team to attract new business opportunities
As VAT Manager, you will possess:
- Relevant experience in a practice environment
- A keen interest in Technology and legislation
- Experience of business development
- The ability to work either independently or as part of a team
- A forward-thinking attitude
