Our Newcastle Office is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer (Marketing Executive). The Role
We are looking for a talented and ambitious graphic designer to join our growing team in Newcastle. We require excellent design skills applied across the full spectrum of marketing assets; print, multimedia, digital and presentations. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of brand and the importance of visual identity, together with a high level of creativity applied within a professional services marketing environment. We are looking for a proven track record of creating innovative, impactful, and engaging designs, with a current knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, to ensure your work remains cutting-edge and relevant.
This role sits within our marketing team and reports to the Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design creative assets for various platforms including web, print, and social media.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create visually impactful campaigns.
- Ensure all designed material aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work.
- Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for larger campaigns.
- Oversee and manage daily work requests and queries.
In addition to the above duties, you may be required from time-to-time to undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your line manager. This position will suit a highly organized individual who is able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Skills and Experience Required
- 3 years’ experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the professional services industry
- Good understanding and knowledge of:
- graphic design and design practices (Grids, paragraph/character styles and templates)
- Adobe CC packages
- Visual identity systems
- Infographic and diagram creation
- Bid and pitch document creation
- Presentation design
- Event branding
- Digital design best practice – experience of software such as Ceros would be beneficial
- Strong typographic skills
- Ability to work with and flexing the firm’s visual identity to create effective, stand-out marketing material
