The CompanyWe are pleased to be supporting a growing ecommerce retail business in the Newcastle area in their search for an Operations manager to help them navigate their growth from start up through to SME.This FMCG business supplied both into retail and direct to consumer, meaning the warehouse is a very exciting, fast paced environment especially around peak periods. The RoleThis is a newly created role, the Operations manager will form part of the senior management team and play a vital role in the company strategy moving forwardResponsible for end to end Warehousing and logistics within a very busy distribution centre the operations manager will take accountability for the day to day running of the site, including H&S and facilities as well as developing the team and pitching in during peak periods. The PersonWe are looking for someone who has a background in ecommerce and FMCG distribution as well as full site accountability. Personality and enthusiasm will be key, this is a busy role where you will be both defining strategy and looking at ways for the operation to be more efficient as well as pitching in packing if needed.This is a perfect role for someone who really wants to make a difference to a growing business going through an exciting period!
