Our client, a highly successful family-owned business, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. This is a role that offers variety and the chance to make a real difference in a supportive environment.
- Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne - free parking onsite
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm - 36.5 hours per week
- Salary: 23,000 - which will be reviewed in 3 months
As a Sales Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders from start to finish, ensuring orders are completed accurately and dispatching goods to customers.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers.
- Raising purchase orders.
- Handling telephone inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Filing and general office duties.
- Picking orders for despatch.
- Labelling products.
- Checking deliveries against delivery notes and updating stock records.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with Sage 50 (training provided).
- Sales administration or order dispatch background (desirable).
- A flexible approach to work.
