Our client, a large manufacturing business based in Newcastle, is seeking to recruit several operators on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role involves working in a heavy manufacturing environment, handling components for press machinery, packaging, and inspection.
Candidates must have over 12 months of previous factory experience to qualify for the position.
The day shift hours are from 7:30 am to 5:15 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a starting salary of £11.44, increasing to £12.01 after 8 weeks upon permanent transfer.
The night shift runs from 9:45 pm to 7:30 am, with a starting salary of £15.21, rising to £15.97 after 8 weeks when transitioning to permanent employment.

Hours of work:

Days 7.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday only 11.44; 12.01 after 8 weeks when transfer perm

Nights 9.45pm -7.30am Monday to Thursday night 15.21; 15.97 after 8 weeks when transfer perm

Shifts rotate every 2 weeks
