THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is delighted to bring to you a client who is looking for a Print Finishing Machine Operator on a temp to perm basis.
You will be working for an award winning print services company who has proudly served both the region and nation for over 30 years. They pride themselves on exceptional customer service and high-quality output. They use state-of-the-art technology and are a company that remains environmentally responsible.

THE ROLE
You will be an experienced individual who is calm, approachable and displays a professional manner. You will have the ability to be flexible and understanding of the print industry demands. Your responsibilities and duties will be as follows:
- You will be operating B2 MBO/Stahl folders
- You will be operating a guillotine operator (Polar)
- You will be operating a Die-cutting (Heidelberg cylinder)
- You will be operating a Heidelberg ST350 stitching line
- You will carry out laminating
- You will carry out PUR Binding
- You will carry out booklet making
THE PERSON
You will be calm, approachable and displays a professional manner. You will have the ability to be flexible and understanding of the print industry demands. Your responsibilities and duties will be as follows:
- You must be able to operate the above but training will be given if required
- You are able to produce accurate, final products to the highest standards
- You are committed to a culture of quality
- You are able to work at ease under instruction and independently
- You recognise the importance of teamwork
- You are prepared to be flexible to meet the demands of the business
- You are comfortable working on your own initiative
- You have the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- You are able to follow instructions on job sheets
- You will have good numerical and organisational skills
