The Job Youll Do;

  • Conducting market research to identify potential customers, market trends and competitors alongside analysing data to determine market demand, customer needs and potential growth opportunities.
  • Staying updated on industry news, regulations, and advancements.
  • Prospecting and contacting potential and existing customers.
  • Following up on leads generated through various channels such as trade shows, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication, meetings, and site visits.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored proposals and solutions for customers.
  • Creating presentations and conducting product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of company products.
  • Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with customers to secure new business opportunities.
  • Managing the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities and sales activities using bespoke software, monitoring progress against sales targets and objectives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals.
  • Forecasting sales projections and preparing regular reports for management review.

About You;

  • Ideally from a technical sales background relating to engineering or heavy industry.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commission-based sales role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated area as required.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
