Your new roleTo coordinate a diverse range of internal and external resources, delivering effective and efficient value-for-money services within the allocated area of responsibility. Promoting service excellence to achieve Estates and Corporate objectives, supporting the delivery of an outstanding experience for all visitors and guests of the establishment.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to work as an effective team member, in supporting the Establishment's Strategy and other activities for the benefit of own area of responsibility and the Establishment as a whole.
  • Experience of working within Facilities Management and delivering service solutions on a scale comparable with role requirements.
  • Experience of effectively managing large groups of staff.
  • Experience of managing and procuring 3rd party suppliers, goods and services.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise resources.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the Service and Establishment and with external stakeholders where relevant.
  • Able to use initiative to resolve complex problems by applying creativity to identify practical options and devise varied solutions.
  • IOSH Health and Safety


Additional Information

  • 37 hours per week as a contractual minimum
  • The post is to support 5/7 working demands; normal hours are Monday to Friday. Flexibility for start and finish times, occasional weekend and out of hour's work will be required.
