Job Opportunity: CSCS Joiner - Fit Out

Location: Newcastle, UK

Duration: 9 Months

Rate: 22 per hour (CIS)

Start Time: 7:00am - 6:00pm, 1hour worth of unpaid breaks

We are seeking 2 CSCS Joiners to join our clients team on a Hotel Rip Out and Fit Out project that is running for 9 months.

As a CSCS Joiner, your role will include:

  • CSCS & Driving License Required
  • Reading and Interpreting Plans: Review architectural drawings and blueprints to understand specifications and measurements for the fit-out work.
  • Installing Fixtures and Fittings: Fit doors, skirting boards, architraves, staircases, shelving, and other wooden fixtures.
  • Constructing and Installing Frameworks: Assemble and secure stud walls, partitions, and ceilings using timber or other materials.
  • Flooring Installation: Lay wooden or engineered flooring as part of the interior fit-out.
  • Kitchen and Furniture Fitting: Install kitchens, cupboards, and bespoke furniture units as per project requirements.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety Standards: Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and the work complies with site health and safety regulations.
  • Material Handling and Preparation: Select, measure, cut, and shape timber or other materials using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Finishing Work: Sanding, staining, and sealing wooden surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish for interiors.
