The RoleOur Client is seeking a time-served Joiner to join the Responsive Repairs Team. You will be responsible for carrying out joinery repairs and maintenance across council properties, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing joinery repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
- Working as part of a responsive repairs team, reacting to urgent and routine repair requests.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
- Following health and safety regulations, including risk assessments.
- Using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with council procedures.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Time-served Joiner with relevant experience in repairs and maintenance
Essential training certifications:
- Manual Handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- Abrasive Wheels
- Working at Height
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
