Dry Liner / Ceiling Fixer

Location: Morpeth 

Salary: £22.50 - £23.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Install drywall panels for walls and ceilings
• Measure and cut panels to fit specific areas
• Fit and secure panels in place using appropriate tools
• Apply tape, sealants, and finishing compounds to joints for a smooth finish
• Install ceiling tiles and grids
• Repair or replace damaged drywall or ceiling panels

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dry Liner / Ceiling Fixer
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of construction materials and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail
• Health and safety awareness

Education:

• Relevant qualification in Dry Lining or a related fied
• CSCS card

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dry lining or ceiling fixing

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in using dry lining tools and equipment
• Strong understanding of construction techniques
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Work on construction sites, both indoors and outdoors
• May involve working at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Physical demanding role requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
