Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to
- recipes and quality standards
- Operate grill and other kitchen equipment effectively and safely
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
- Effective teamwork amongst chefs
- Monitor food production to ensure timely service and quality control
- Stock management- carrying out stock list and informing management
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
- Punctual and has good time keeping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and personal hygiene
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary principles
- Experience in supervising and leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficient in food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions
- Honest and reliable
- Relevant qualifications i.e HACCP, Food Safety etc
Hours
- 2 x Full Time Chef, 5 days a week (42 hours a week) 7-10 hours Shift
- Friday & Saturday mandatory days of working.
