Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to
  • recipes and quality standards
  • Operate grill and other kitchen equipment effectively and safely
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Effective teamwork amongst chefs
  • Monitor food production to ensure timely service and quality control
  • Stock management- carrying out stock list and informing management
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
  • Punctual and has good time keeping
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and personal hygiene
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary principles
  • Experience in supervising and leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Proficient in food safety regulations and procedures
  • Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions
  • Honest and reliable
  • Relevant qualifications i.e HACCP, Food Safety etc
Hours
  • 2 x Full Time Chef, 5 days a week (42 hours a week) 7-10 hours Shift
  • Friday & Saturday mandatory days of working.
