The Copthorne Hotel Newcastleis seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partieto join our Senior Kitchen team and help support the team indelivering a high standard of food.

What are we expecting from a Senior Chef de Partie?

Supporting the Kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver an excellent standard of food

Preparing all dishes as instructed by Head Chef and/or Senior Sous Chef

Support the Kitchen Senior Management team in planning menus within cost targets

Controlling food costs and achieving gross profit targets (including monitoring waste)

Ensuring processes are in place to achieve high standards of cleanliness, consistently

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements

What we are looking for

Proven track recordas a Senior Chef de Partie/Chef de Partie within a quality hotel

Ability to lead and effectively supervise the kitchen team

High standards of hygiene and Health & Safety controls

Knowledge of computerised ordering system

Enthusiastic and motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy

The ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis, weekend work is included
