Our TeamData Governance and Control is a dynamic, exciting team who work closely with all areas of Virgin Money.? The team plays a vital role supporting the embedding of a robust 1st line Data Privacy and Data Management framework across Virgin Money.

What you'll be doing• Supporting our corporate change agenda, reviewing Data Protection Assessments (DPA) to help the business identify and manage data risks• Helping the business manage their regulatory accountabilities around Record of Processing Activities (ROPA), ensuring we have a clear view of how and why personal information is processed across the business and our supply chain• Triaging personal data events to ensure impact is minimised, risks are understood and action taken and tracked where necessary. Working closely with the Data Protection Office team where any breaches may be reportable to the Information Commissioner's Office• Supporting others within the team and continually looking to improve everything that we do both in terms of our internal team processes and those which go bank wide

We need you to have• High levels of motivation and be able to demonstrate a professional "can do" attitude.• Capacity to handle high workflows and prioritise appropriately, ensuring tasks are completed within required timeframes.• Desire to learn the complex and wide ranging discipline of data privacy.• Excellent and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience of managing challenge and conflict.• Ability to understand and interpret data with a tenacity to look beyond headline information to identify trends.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential• Knowledge of the banks data management and privacy processes along with the associated regulation• Experience of building trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.• Working knowledge of Excel, SharePoint, Power Bi
