My successful and expanding client is looking for a dedicated and organised individual to join their growing team as an Area Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within a designated geographic area, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies. The Area Sales Manager will foster strong customer relationships and collaborate with other departments to achieve overall company objectives.

Duties

  • Travel to client’s sites in designated territory to meet with clients.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define sales goals and targets.
  • Create and manage territory plans to maximize market penetration.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Identify and address potential challenges within the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up.

The ideal candidate will ideally have proven experience in plumbing/heating/construction sales management. Bespoke product training will be provided to the right individual. We do however need someone with a track record or extreme determination of meeting or exceeding targets with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills along with an analytical mindset.
