Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the North East and spearhead the expansion of our solar panel solutions for commercial buildings. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial sector to expand our client base and market share. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, facility directors, and decision-makers within commercial organizations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the renewable energy sector. Use insights to drive strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our solar panel solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless execution of solar panel installations and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and stay updated on industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector or commercial building solutions. Experience with solar panel systems is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of solar energy technologies, commercial building operations, and renewable energy market trends.
  • Drive: Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and a passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
