Our client, one of the country’s leading law firms with an international portfolio, is seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join an established, local sales & marketing team in growing the firm’s customer base across the North East region.
As Business Development Manager, you will:
- Manage several business pipelines simultaneously
- Support the Bids & Tenders team on pitches
- Work closely with partners on strategy and client relationships
- Specifically target FDs, HR & IT Directors
- Build new relationships with prospects
- Onboard new clients in priority sectors
- Broaden relationships with existing clients
- Collaborate with overseas colleagues on cross-border projects
- Liaise with the Marketing Team on brand communications
- Attend meetings with clients and prospects
- Represent the firm at conferences and events
As Business Development Manager, you will need:
- Experience gained from a Legal, Real Estate, Public Sector or Private Wealth background
- Experience of business development from within professional services
- The ability to influence at a senior level both internally and externally
- An in-depth understanding of your chosen market
