We are recruiting for a market-leading print and packaging specialist based in the North East of the UK. The role of Business Development Manager is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced sales team in a well established business.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new sales by the identification and execution of new business territory opportunities to achieve targets. As a BDM you will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability, with the expectation to perform as a fully supportive team member to the division and the business.
Responsibilities
- Reach potential customers through cold calling using targeted prospecting, utilising both marketing-sourced and self-sourced leads; the latter through the development and leveraging of the BDM’s own network.
- Achieve or exceed all agreed-upon sales objectives and outcomes.
- Perform cost--benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs.
- Create high quality written documents to articulate and support relevant business cases.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Prospecting and outbound calling for all sales channels.
- Outbound sales interaction via customer visits, phone, email, digital and written media
- Lead generation , progression and conversion.
- Sales appointment bookings.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers.
