The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group are delighted to be supporting a privately owned B2B service provider in their recruitment for a newly created Business Development Manager. Our client provides quality assured employment screening services to a wide range of customers across public, private and not for profit sectors. As a result of continued growth, they require a BDM to drive revenue across existing accounts as well as landing new logos. This is a hybrid role with expectation to visit the Newcastle based offices twice a week.Ā Role Profile:ā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Responsible for creating and implementing a sales strategy from scratch utilising an existing databaseā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Drive growth across existing accounts whilst creating an agenda to win new businessā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Produce compelling bids/tenders into a public and private sector clients some of which are enterprise levelā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Qualify and action SEO leads as well as generate own cold leads in line with the ideal customer profileā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Support the implementation of a fit-for-purpose CRM and then maximise usageĀ Person Specification:ā€¢Ā Ā  Ā A commercially aware sales individual with experience working in a B2B service or tech businessā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Experience selling into mid to enterprise sized businessesā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Consultative sales/solution selling approach is crucialā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Strong relationship building skills and ability to network with c-suiteā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Ability to support the implementation of a CRM based on previous commercial experience and exposureā€¢Ā Ā  Ā Honest and resilient character with demonstrable experience in driving business (both new and existing)Other information:This role is hybrid with circa 2 days in the office in Newcastle and the occasional travel to the North West (circa 2 times a month)
