We are hiring for a Lead Generation Specialist who is passionate about the energy sector and experienced in B2B lead generation or outbound sales. Based in Newcastle Quayside, this role is within a dynamic and modern office environment, complete with pool tables, arcade games, and collaborative spaces. You will play a vital role in driving our 2025 growth strategy by identifying and qualifying high-value clients for gas and electric solutions.
Duties of a Lead Generation Specialist
In this role, you will be working closely with the sales team to generate and qualify new leads. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Researching and identifying prospective B2B clients in the energy sector through outbound cold calling and platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Qualifying leads based on energy usage, industry needs, and alignment with our services.
- Building relationships with potential clients, educating them on gas and electric offerings.
- Keeping the CRM system updated with accurate and detailed lead information.
- Collaborating with the team to meet lead generation and sales targets.
Skills and Experience of a Lead Generation Specialist
As a Lead Generation Specialist, you need to have:
- Experience in B2B lead generation or outbound sales (preferred, ideally in energy, utilities, or related fields).
- Strong research and communication skills.
- An outgoing, ambitious, and self-motivated personality.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and lead generation tools.
It would be beneficial to the role if you also had:
- Knowledge of the energy sector, including gas and electric solutions.
- Experience with LinkedIn for lead generation.
- A passion for helping businesses improve energy efficiency.
