The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group are excited to be supporting a growing PE-backed ed-tech company that specialise in providing bespoke therapeutic services for children and young people. They focus on delivering flexible, confidential sessions through a user-friendly platform, ensuring accessibility and engagement. To support their ambitious growth plan, they are searching for a Business Development Manager to drive new business sales, selling into schools, local authorities and multi academy trusts. The role is hybrid with travel to their Yorkshire based head office.Role Profile:•    Expand reach in schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs), developing new business opportunities and converting leads into partnerships.•    Collaborate with marketing to nurture leads from campaigns, events, and referrals into long-term clients.•    Conduct product demonstrations and presentations leading to successful closing of business.•    Utilise market insights and data to refine sales strategies and drive growth.•    Maintain CRM records, tracking performance and ensuring a structured sales process.Person Specification:•    Proven track record in new business sales or business development (2+ years, depending on experience).•    Valuable experience in selling to the education or public sector.•    Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with decision-makers.•    Strategic thinker who identifies opportunities and crafts innovative solutions.•    Proficient in using CRM systems and working in a structured, data-driven manner.•    Passionate about helping children and schools access top-quality support.Other information:This role is hybrid or remote.
