Our unsecured lending team continues to disrupt the market - smashing targets and delivering for our customers.  We're growing and need more brilliant, talented individuals to help us achieve our goals.

You'll be part of the team responsible for achieving trading performance across the unsecured lending business - Credit Cards and Personal Loans.  You'll support the day-to-day product management, ensuring that we launch new products and pricing safely and efficiently to hit our Commercial Plan to deliver good outcomes for our customers and the business. 

You'll also get the opportunity to learn about our propositions and how we design them, feed into our strategy and work closely with key stakeholders across the business in a collaborative way. 

What you'll be doing

  • Ownership and execution of product and pricing changes for credit cards and personal loans to support our commercial objectives.  This includes developing and continuously improving our delivery processes to ensure we have robust procedures that support speed to market.
  • Ownership of market and competitor movement tracking and the reporting of changes and the potential impact to our business.
  • Performance monitoring, highlighting variances against plan, threats or opportunities and pro-actively recommend opportunities to support plan
  • Digital Performance monitoring and supporting the digital teams in identifying improvements to the customer journey and conversion. 
  • Focus on customer outcomes to and ensure that our products perform in line with expectations for our target markets, reviewing the customer outcome scorecards and supporting the completion of fair value assessments for USL products.
  • Building key relationships with areas like finance, risk, digital and marketing to ensure alignment across our objectives and ensure a clear focus on delivery.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date procedures and business rules are in place
  • Bring new ideas for designing and developing our proposition and strategy, implementing new (and enhancing existing) propositions and features to balance customer, commercial and risk considerations.

We need you to have

  • Experience developing and maintaining roadmaps to support strategy.
  • Experience managing change with evidence of identifying and making efficiencies/optimisation in the process.
  • Curiosity, ask the question, work out why and help us be even better.  
  • A great team player, supporting others and being able to develop and maintain key relationships to achieve goals together.
  • Great communications skills - take something complicated and explaining it simply.
  • A self-starter, be able to take the lead and manage your own workload. 
  • Good analytical skills to understand performance and report on findings.
  • Excellent MS excel and PowerPoint skills.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

  • Experience with digital journey conversion optimisation.
  • Customer Process Experience - an awareness of how our customers can both acquire and service their products.
  • Product or proposition management or marketing experience.
  • A good understanding of risk and controls and the regulatory environment for USL.
