The Role

The successful candidate will be a Trainee or Certificated Enforcement Agent based in the Newcastle area and working from home/field. Once trained, they will be out in the field, making visits to the properties of customers in debt. Their goal is to help customers reach the best solution to avoid further action taking place. Key Responsibilities of an Enforcement Agent:

  • Visiting properties of customers in debt to help them reach the best solution to avoid further action taking place.
  • Speaking with customers or neighbours to understand their situation and provide support.
  • Completing questionnaires and updating the system.
  • Taking control of goods and removing them if necessary.
  • Planning work schedules and visits to properties.

Required knowledge and experience as an Enforcement Agent:

  • Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to stay calm and influence people to find the best solutions.
  • Trustworthy and honest - able to do the job to the highest standard, treating people with respect and dignity.
  • Balanced and fair - able to make decisions with integrity, using different tactics to handle challenging or vulnerable customers.
