My client are an energetic engineering consultancy who provide services to the construction industry, developers and local authorities.

They undertake a wide variety of work including drainage design, highway and external works design, structural design, structural surveys, flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling. They are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their team, based in the Newcastle office.

The Role:
路Experience within the house building sector
路Knowledge of all approval processes including S104, S38 and S278.
路Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion.
路Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process.
路Appropriate qualification in civil engineering.
路Excellent written and oral communication skills.
路A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint.
Your Experience:
路Educated to a HNC/HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering.
路Previous design experience in the civils sector.
路Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required.
路Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civils 3D and Micro Drainage along with good working knowledge of SUDs.
