A brand-new opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join a thriving team has opened up in Newcastle. This role offers a chance to lead and manage projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development within a growing geotechnical and environmental team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee geotechnical and environmental projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, residential, and commercial.
  • Undertake and review ground investigations, risk assessments, and interpretative reporting.
  • Provide technical expertise in areas such as slope stability, foundation design, retaining structures, and ground improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver client-focused and cost-effective solutions.
  • Engage in business development and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, or Civil Engineering (MSc in Geotechnics or Engineering Geology beneficial).
