Our client designs, manufactures and supports ruggedised complex technology and software solutions (e.g. CIS, Communications Systems, Electronic Warfare Systems) for land, sea and air defence applications.

They are currently looking for a Project Engineer to work with and support all stakeholders, including the end client, internal teams and supply chain partners.

The Project Engineer willplay a key role in the delivery of technical services at customer sites and in-house, through design, production and in-service support (obsolescence management, ILS, engineering change etc.) of new-build modern and legacy products, as well as delivering repair services to customer equipment.

To be considered for this role, applicants will ideally be qualified to HNC/HND/degree (or equivalent) level in a relevant engineering subject, with previous experience in a similar role, supporting clients on complex system products.

Your experience will be biased towards electrical/electronic engineering, working on complex systems, ideally for the defence sector.

You will also need to have:
  • Experience of managing multiple engineering workflows, across different technical disciplines and to differing regulatory standards.
  • Experience of successfully managing a range of internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, the following would be beneficial:
  • Experience of working in the UK Defence & Security sector.
  • Subject matter expertise in either electrical, electronic or communications engineering disciplines.
  • Experience of delivering technical services and products to the UK public sector.
