Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering complex engineering projects within the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, all while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyse specifications, drawings and ensure compliance with standards
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations, standards, and company policies, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental impact.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
The Person:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
- Experience in project engineering, preferably in the oil and gas or renewable energy industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry standards.
- Able to use Autocad and Analysis software
