Project Engineer – Field based – North East UK Area

Are you a skilled Project Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology? Join us and lead exciting projects across the UK and Ireland! We’re looking for a dynamic professional to coordinate, manage, and complete installations of our bespoke software solutions and integrate packaging line devices like printers, check weighers, barcode scanners, and vision systems.

Key Tasks:
- Lead project activities and communicate tasks effectively.
- Install, troubleshoot, and support hardware and software solutions.
- Configure devices such as HMIs, PCs, PLCs, and barcode scanners.
- Conduct customer training and support.
- Deploy software applications and conduct system testing.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably as a Project Engineer.
- NVQ Level 3 and HNC in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Strong mechanical skills and a passion for learning new software systems.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Flexibility to support projects across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
Bonus Skills (nice but not essential):
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL tools.
- Experience with industrial devices and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with PLCs and vision devices.
- Additional language skills (German, Spanish, French) would be a plus, but not essential.
