We’re working with a leading engineering firm, partnering with Northumbrian Water and key stakeholders, to recruit a Principal Civil Engineer. What We’re Looking For

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject
  • Significant experience in the water industry, with expertise in water/wastewater infrastructure, networks, or treatment
  • Ideally, Incorporated or Chartered status (e.g., ICE, CIWEM)
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring civil engineers and managing technical teams
  • A strong commitment to client service and excellence

You’ll take on responsibility for the technical delivery of a major capital investment programme, drawing on a wider technical network to maximize innovation and ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality standards. You’ll also manage and mentor a team of engineers, helping to shape the next generation of talent.
