Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Assessor to join their national training company. 

 

The role entails (but is not limited to):

  • Assess learners through their qualification.
  • Conduct learner observations.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver training sessions to learners.
  • Adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of the learners.
  • Provide support and advice to learners.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and meetings with learners, maintaining accurate records throughout.
  • Ensure quality standards are met across all assessments.
  • Work with the Internal Verifier inline with the quality improvement process.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and practices.
  • Promote a safe culture within the learning environment.

 

A successful candidate will have:

  • Must hold Assessor Qualification (e.g. D32 / D33, A1, TAQA or equivalent qualification).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the awarding body’s requirements.
  • An understanding of the Ofsted framework and quality improvement process.

 

This is a home-based role where travel will be required to our training centre in Northumberland, you will be required to travel for training sessions and meetings.

Working hours are 37.5 per week with flexible working considered.

The salary for this role is competitive subject to experience and qualifications.
