- Commercial lead for product enquiries, including management of all commercial aspects relating to the receipt, preparation and response of these enquiries.
- Negotiating and drafting of contract terms and conditions.
- Developing and managing customer framework agreements.
- Management of contract acceptance activities.
- Work closely with the nominated bid manager to lead on all commercial issues associated with generation of proposals.
- Ensure that all legal and compliance requirements are met.
- Establish excellent relationships with commercial contacts within a global customer base.
- Dispensing strategic risk and commercial counsel throughout the bidding and project phases
- Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the engineering field.
- Knowledge of import regulations in a regulated setting.
- Experience with government or military contracts is a plus.
- Skilled in crafting and executing sound commercial proposals.
- Proficient in contract negotiation and management.
- Independent decision-making with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for building internal and external relationships.
