Field Sales Representative (Building Trade)

Permanent

Covering North of UK & Scotland.

£28,000 - £35,000 + realistic OTE

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Our Client is a global leader in tools and machinery to cut, handle, and fix wall and floor tiles, and other building materials used in the construction and refurbishment industry.  They are now on the look out for an experienced Sales Representative to maximise on new business opportunities as well as growing and naturing existing accounts.

Main Responsibilities of the Sales Representative      

  • Selling to both new and existing customers to grow business in the region.
  • Strive to achieve sales goals for your location through effective relationship management of current customers.
  • Seek for new clients to grow RUBI tools presence in the region.
  • Showcase our products to train our customers on the company’s products.
  • Provide our customers with support and expert advice about our tools answer technical product questions.
  • Organise and perform product demonstrations and basic warranty repairs with end users.
  • Gather valuable feedback from the field on competitive landscape, pricing, market challenges and innovation, while being close to the end users.

Experience and Skills required

  • 3+ years in the tiling sector (or Building Trade)
  • Experience successfully selling in the B2B segment.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the North of the England and Scotland which will result in nights away from home
  • Negotiation and communication skills, goal orientation and passion to explore and open new accounts.
  • Must be a team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative, and align with our company's values.
