Due to growth I have multiple vacancies for CNC Machinists including CNC Turners and CNC Millers. We're offering a very competetive rate of pay with overtime readily available at premium rates.

This position is working on a shift pattern involving 12 hour days & nights with NO WEEKEND working. You'll work a 4 day week followed by 2 x 3 day weeks, having every Saturday and Sunday off.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Edit programs and set up and operate CNC Lathes or CNC Milling Machines
  • Working with a range of materials including exotic materials, nickel, super alloys, stainless steel, brass, duplex and aluminium
  • Using a range of measuring equipment and have a working knowledge of inspection procedures in order to undertake self-inspection
  • Working as part of the machine shop team and interface with the production support departments including production control, engineering, and maintenance

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Experience programming/editing and setting CNC Lathes or Milling Machines
  • Experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls
  • Experience working from engineering drawings
  • Ideally apprentice trained in machining or a mechanical discipline
  • Some experience within aerospace or sub contract precision engineering dealing with manufacturing components from exotic materials.
