Our client, a large manufacturing business based in Newcastle, is seeking to recruit multiple operators on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role involves working in a heavy manufacturing environment, handling tasks such as placing components into press machinery, packaging, and inspection.
Candidates must have at least 12 months of previous factory experience to qualify for the position.
The salary for day shifts is £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.01 after 8 weeks upon permanent transfer, while night shifts start at £15.21, rising to £15.97 after the same period.
Shifts will rotate every two weeks, with day hours from 7.30am to 5.15pm and night hours from 9.45pm to 7.30am, Monday to Thursday.

Hours of work:

Days 7.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday only 11.44; 12.01 after 8 weeks when transfer perm

Nights 9.45pm -7.30am Monday to Thursday night 15.21; 15.97 after 8 weeks when transfer perm

Shifts rotate every 2 weeks
