The role

GLA ltd are working with a well-established and highly reputable construction company who are looking for an experienced Adoption Engineer to join their team due to growth. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience working in construction

Duties

  • Assessment and processing of adoption and diversion applications
  • Ensuring applications are reviewed in accordance with the relevant standards and the appropriate processes are adhered to within regulatory timescales.
  • Keeping our record system up to date with the most recent information at every step
  • Monitoring and reviewing scheme fees to ensure that schemes are completed within budget and any additional costs are recovered.
  • Undertaking all project closure procedures ensuring that all financial and technical duties are completed.
  • Ensuring all job elements are kept the timescales so we achieve the overall scheme Levels of Service.
  • Compliance with current health and safety legislation and policies
  • Monthly reporting and reviews
  • A Civil Engineering background with a minimum of an HND or equivalent.
  • Experience in an engineering role and an understanding of the design elements
  • Experience within the water or construction industry
  • Experience in Designing or vetting in line with Sewer adoptions standards
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
