As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality surveying services across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and public projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments to identify defects, necessary repairs, and overall condition.
- Provide expert advice on building regulations, safety, and environmental considerations.
- Manage and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Prepare detailed reports, schedules of condition, and specifications.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior surveyors, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Chartered status (MRICS) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in building surveying, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations and construction standards.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.

- Competitive salary ranging from 47,5000 to 55,000, dependent on experience and chartership.
