We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CDM Designer to join our client based in Newcastle. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that health and safety principles are integrated into the design process for a wide range of construction projects. Working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, you will provide expert guidance to meet CDM regulations and deliver safe, sustainable, and innovative design solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on high-profile projects while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of our clientsconsultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of health and safety considerations into the design phase of construction projects, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on risk management and design safety.

  • Prepare and review pre-construction information, design risk assessments, and health and safety files.

  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to identify and mitigate risks at the design stage.

  • Conduct design reviews and workshops to promote safe and efficient construction practices.
