Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Manager to join their team in Newcastle. Candidates from various background are encouraged to apply. As Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design process across various healthcare and residential projects. You will ensure that design solutions are delivered efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards. Design Manager Job Overview
  • Manage the design development process from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure design objectives align with project requirements
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, including planning approvals and building regulations
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle

Design Manager Job Requirements
  • Background in Architecture, Project Management, Building Surveying

  • Ability to lead and coordinate a team
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and industry standards
