Our client, a successful engineering business, is seeking to appoint an Engineering Manager due to significant growth opportunities.
The Engineering Manager will lead a team of Mechanical Design Engineers, focusing on improving efficiency and delivering high-quality engineered products.
Candidates should have strong technical mechanical design expertise and well-developed communication skills to manage relationships with demanding customers.
Previous experience in bespoke complex metal-based products is advantageous, and the role is suitable for either an experienced Engineering Manager or a Principal Engineer looking to move into leadership.
The position offers a competitive salary, and candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

About youAs either an experienced Engineering Manager or a Principal Engineer with the appetite to move into a key leadership role, you will both a strong technical mechanical design expertise but also well developed communication skills to build effective relationships with a high profile and demanding customer base. A real passion for design for manufacture, working closely throughout the whole business and plant to maximise effectiveness. Previous experience gained in bespoke complex metal based products (fabrication, machining, forging etc) would be advantageous.
