The Role

As Trainer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the employee journey, focusing on the onboarding process and beyond. Reporting to the Head of People and working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll design and deliver engaging training programs that set employees up for success. Initially, your focus will be on onboarding new sales team members, but the role will evolve to include broader training and leadership development across the business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Engaging Training Delivery: Deliver high-impact training sessions across sales, systems, business processes, and leadership development.
  • Content Creation: Design high-quality training materials and session plans, either from scratch or by building on existing resources.
  • Innovative Onboarding: Develop and manage a 'training bay’ and supported live environment for new starters during their onboarding period.
  • Setting Standards: Clearly communicate expected standards and performance requirements to new hires.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of People, Growth & Sales Director, and other stakeholders to track progress and address risks.
  • Impact Measurement: Evaluate training success using company metrics and KPIs, constantly improving delivery based on feedback and data.
  • Scheduling Excellence: Organise training schedules to align with business needs and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Team Partnership: Collaborate with the wider People Team to create a cohesive and supportive employee experience.

A Little Bit About You

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a training or facilitation role, ideally within a sales or technology environment.
  • Content creation: Proven experience in creating high-quality training materials and session plans from scratch.
  • Passion for People: Enthusiastic about learning and development, keeping up to date with industry trends.
  • Engaging Communicator: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate your audience.
  • Creative Thinker: Continuously seeks ways to innovate and improve the learning experience.
  • Highly Organised: Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Desirable: Experience with HubSpot, Google systems, and a relevant Learning & Development qualification such as CIPD.
