Our client is the UKs leading business in their sector, whose clients are large well known organisations. With a bespoke and innovative software product, it’s imperative that all colleagues are fully trained to effectively understand and maximise the system. This will include working at sites in other regions when necessary.

The Learning & Development Specialist will develop and deliver system training into the Group companies adopting the system for the first time. You will be required to develop a good understanding of the software and each of the businesses’ requirements to create, produce and deliver training solutions for both new recruits and refresher training through effective training needs analysis. A significant feature of this role will be to work as part of the migration project team to onboard varying businesses onto the new platform.

What’s involved:

  • Reporting to the Group Training Manager, the System Trainer develops, delivers and maintains the business system training portfolio. From new employee onboarding to ongoing development, the system trainer provides a tailored learning experience for all group audiences based on business and learner needs
  • A confident communicator with good stakeholder management, building relationships with system SME’s, product owners, customers and learners
  • Produce effective learning proposals to facilitate the successful implementation of all system process training interventions
  • An eye for design and a firm grasp of the training cycle, you will competently develop new and exciting system training content that is relevant and on-trend in today’s evolving training demands
  • A passionate facilitator who adapts their delivery style from classroom to virtual, embracing not only different training delivery vehicles but also introducing new and exciting accelerated learning techniques, to enhance and improve learner experience
  • Measure effectiveness through a range of feedback and retention tools, the system trainer will competency report solution effectiveness and business return on investment

Background and skills needed:

  • Confident in all areas of training design and delivery practices
  • Confident managing the implementation of training solutions from analysis through to evaluation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Adaptable facilitator, adapting to the delivery needs of the business and audience
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a sound understanding of compliance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a learning & development professional
  • LMS administration experience would be great, e-learning development would be fantastic!
