They are now looking for a Customer Service Admin to join their busy team based in Newcastle. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. While industry experience is beneficial, it is not essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire move process—from handling initial inquiries and issuing quotations to coordinating services and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are key to success in this role.

Job Purpose:
- Deliver a seamless move management experience to customers from initial inquiry to completion.
- Maximise conversion rates and job profitability through proactive sales and customer engagement.
- Coordinate all aspects of international removals, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards while ensuring cost control and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming inquiries and respond promptly.
- Arrange surveys (in-person or telephone).
- Determine pricing and issue quotations.
- Follow up on quotes and secure business.
- Negotiate pricing where possible to convert leads into sales.
- Upsell additional services to maximise profitability.
- Maintain accurate client records in Navision and keep the business development team updated.
- Coordinate all move-related services, including booking freight and liaising with global partners.
- Ensure all customer records are kept up to date.
- Provide competitive quotes and negotiate effectively.
- Ensure prompt responses to emails and rate requests.
- Maintain accurate system status updates.
- Meet shipping and accounting deadlines.
- Process purchase orders and invoices.
- Work with the Quality and Resourcing Manager to resolve complaints and settle claims.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Sales experience with proven closing and negotiation abilities.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of job files in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Good geographical knowledge.
